Reserved Puppies

These precious Mi-Kis are our reserved puppies that have not yet traveled to their new families. Our future families can still find their puppy photos here to show their friends and family members.

A Reminder to our Adopting Families: Consider booking your 72-hour post-adoption health validation checkup and second vaccination appointment now as veterinary clinics are often scheduling weeks in advance.

Irving – gold tweener long-coat male – 9 months old – currently weighs 7.1 pounds and is charting to be 7.5 pounds at maturity – reserved

This beautiful gold boy just got neutered and is going to live with my niece in Alaska.

Pepper Jack – black and tan long-coat male – ten weeks old – charting to be 6 pounds, 2 ounces at maturity – reserved

Pepper Jack was reserved, but he is probably available as the client is unsure about his coloration. Pepper Jack has a sweet, intuitive temperament and would be suitable doing service work and/or being an emotional support animal. As seen on the litter photos, he can also be silly and fun! Pepper Jack’s torso is staying jet black, but he shows signs of silvering on his face, so he appears to have the graying gene — though it appears to only be affecting his head at this point. I don’t have a good photo of a black and tan adult Mi-Ki with the silvering gene to illustrate the possible color he may be, but Dresden, also featured on the slideshow, is a black and tan parti (a tricolor). Dresden has the graying gene, which is also localized to her head. The silvering somewhat obscures her tan eyebrows. I also posted a photo of Mario, a black and tan without the graying gene. No matter what his color turns out to be, Pepper Jack is a sweetheart who is very devoted. He does like to mouth my hands, but he is very gentle. He had a great 8-week checkup and did not get carsick going to the vet.

Chaina + Gimli – DOB January 24, 2026 – the “Serendipitous” Litter – ready 4/4/26 (or sooner since they’re already over 2 pounds)

Sienna – chocolate & white long-coat female – nine weeks old – charting to be 7 pounds, 7 ounces at maturity – reserved

If Sienna ends up with a non-graying silky coat, she may very well be staying here. She is starting curl up quite a bit, so I may decide against her, despite her lovely structure and unbelievably sweet personality. I do love her face and sturdy size. But we also have other gorgeous pairings to choose from, so we’ll have to be very picky about who we keep for our program. We have another breeder interested in her if we don’t keep her ourselves. I will be checking with her before deciding if we will release her as a pet.

Maddie (formerly Sydney) – black & white long-coat female – nine weeks old – charting to be 8 pounds, 9 ounces at maturity – reserved

Sydney is a beautifully marked long-coat female who is going to be a nice, sturdy size – perfect for families with kids, or as a breeder. She carries chocolate. She could also carry blue and tan points. Her coat is glossy and mostly straight. I also love how clean her white is, with very little ticking. Someone perfect for her painted a picture of the wonderful life they could have together, so I decided to let her go instead of keeping her for our program. She will now be called “Maddie.”

RosaLee + Cosmo – DOB January 31, 2026 – the Tenacious Litter – Ready 4/11/26

RosaLee and Cosmo had two big puppies that required a C-section, and the boy was not viable. With some tough breeding outcomes and family health struggles lately, we’re reminding ourselves to be Tenacious. Therefore, the “Tenacious” litter name is to inspire hope in our endeavor to be preservation Mi-Ki breeders. Thank you to all of our friends and family for offering their support.

Miss T – black and white long coat female – eight weeks old – charting to be 5 pounds, 7 ounces at maturity – reserved, ready 4/11/26

I’m not sure if “Miss T” will stay her name, but Royal T’s Tenacious Miss T has kind of a nice ring to it and may evolve into “Misty.” Miss T carries chocolate and clear red. She may also carry tan points and blue, but not smooth. She seems to have a nice, straight coat with a coarser texture which usually proves to be one of the easier coats to maintain. She could be considered for a breeding program due to her stellar show-dog parentage and color profile. She’s charting to be in a breedable range, but sometimes singletons can be artificially big, so we will see how she continues to develop. Her parents’ weights: RosaLee is 5 pounds. Cosmo is 4.5 pounds. This is a spicy, clever girl, we can tell already. She’s going to be a bit of a diva because she already has opinions. But she’s very cute with wide-set eyes like her mama. I might be seeing a bit of lightening around her eyes, which could indicate she has the graying gene, so she may be silver and white as an adult.
