We love our clients! Many are repeat Mi-Ki buyers. Here are a few things they’ve said about their experiences with Royal T Mi-Kis.

Rocky the Mi-Ki (Zelda's brother)

Dear Mary,

We wanted to let you know what an absolute joy our little Miki Rocky, now 9 months old, has been in our lives. He has such a sweet disposition and is friendly to everyone and other dogs. He loves to play, with us and other dogs but he also is so calm and able to sit on our laps when we read a book or the newspaper in the morning. He’s just the most loving little boy. Rocky is our third Miki and although we dearly loved both of our prior doggies who have passed on, we do have to say that Rocky being raised in your home environment has definitely made a difference. While our previous breeder, who is no longer doing breeding, gave us two precious doggies. we do notice the difference in having a puppy who was raised by you. They both were in a home with their mom and a sibling. Rocky having been around several other puppies, dogs, in a home environment, and around several people came to us just so confident. Even though you have the puppies for a short amount of time, those first few months are like the formative years for humans. One always has to deal with some accidents when you get a puppy but really it’s been quite easy. Rocky was fairly well trained in the first month and after a couple months there were no more accidents. He loves to go everywhere with us but he’s also confident enough to be fine staying home when we can’t take him. Mind you, we are retired so he doesn’t spend tons of time alone. We have a doggie door that he uses freely going in and out all day long and so enjoys his backyard. Everyone just loves him when they see him and he greets everyone with kisses. He doesn’t even bark when the doorbell rings he just runs to go give greetings. When anyone asks him where we got him we always recommend you highly even though we’re in California and you’re in Denver. When we get our next Miki, which may not be too far off as Rocky would really love a playmate, there’s no doubt that our new family member will come from Royal T Mi-Kis. We wish you and Bill all the best.

Hi Mary, I have had my little Mi-Ki for 3 weeks now & I am quite smitten with him. I feel so blessed I found you, for you are by far a better breeder than most. You really do it right. I am so grateful you played with him and touched his feet often. Most people might not notice how important this little step is but I certainly do. There’s no fighting at all when I trim his nails so that part of the training I can skip. Thanks to you & all the attention you give to your puppies. I couldn’t be happier. I know you’re waiting to hear his name. After going thru several names, I finally decided on Sparky. He gets his 2nd shot tomorrow. Thanks, Mary & take care. Sincerely, Carolyn B.

Hello Mary, just wanted to touch base to update you on Hudson and to thank you for providing us with the most SOCIAL little buddy ever!
Hudson absolutely loves people,  but more so children it is absolutely heartwarming to watch him with them.

The grandchildren came to Lake Havasu over Christmas and needless to say, I was worried about little Hudson being around a 6, 4 and 2-year-old (especially our 2 yr old grandson). Turns out they fell in love the second they met. It was like they were glued together. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that our grandson has severe asthma and maybe Hudson sensed it. What was even more shocking was how Hudson reacted when *** left… he went under the bed and refused to come out, we would lay on the floor and talk to him and you could actually see the tears in his eyes

Hudson the Mi-ki carefully watches over a sick child.
Hudson comforting Abby’s grandson. Image and names obscured for youth privacy concerns.

He would come out briefly when we would get **** on FaceTime to talk to him but this continued for 5 days! He finally came around… Whew!
We are leaving Lake Havasu for Saskatoon on Sunday so another adventure for him. He has adjusted to our life here so well. Hudson loves the 5-mile hikes each morning! He runs to get his bag and my shoes lol (we get funny comments like… “that’s a funny way to walk your dog”)

Hudson the Mi-ki loves riding in his dune buggy!

He also loves to go out in the desert in the RZR … He prefers not to wear his goggles or his mask  🙁

He’s the life of the party wherever we go!
We bring his carry bad with on the rides as they usually have a restaurant destination. We put him in the bag to go inside and set him under our chair and people are amazed that nobody knows he’s there as he doesn’t make a peep!
I am constantly explaining Mi-Ki to everyone who meets him.

Thank you for the breeding these amazing friends!

Testimonials about Royal T Mi-kis

Our adopters are some of the best dog people around! We love having happy clients and are pleased to have repeat adopters. Here are a few excerpts from notes our clients have sent us.

From Cooper’s parents:

I love this breed so much. They make wonderful children. We rescued our last miki (Buddy)….who had so many medical and mental issues… We always wondered what he would have been like if he would have had a wonderful beginning like Cooper…now we know.

[Cooper] is completely potty trained, fetches toys and brings them back… He is such a joy and a gift from God. He is the best puppy we’ve ever had in over 30 years of having dogs. We love him so much. Thank you again so very much for Cooper. You are the best breeder of these little people. So organized and we can tell how much time and love was invested in our little Mini Cooper.

He hasn’t had an accident since the third day he was with us. Occasionally he just goes over and sits on the potty pad…looks at us for a treat… he is a funny little guy.
